Derek E. Miller Attorney has had a distinguished career, previously serving as Chief of Operations for the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office, overseeing sixty attorneys. He also acted as an Assistant Prosecutor, managing busy dockets. As a State Legislator, Derek authored Wyatt's Law, creating Michigan's first Child Abuse Registry. Later, he served as Macomb County Treasurer, creating "Keep Macomb Your Home" to prevent foreclosures.

Derek and his wife are active in their local Catholic Church and remain very involved with Macomb Habitat for Humanity. He recently hired his first paid intern from his alma mater, eager to expand his firm to assist more individuals.
